Who We Are
FCR INTERNATIONAL is a Nonprofit Christian Organization focused on serving refugees and all other people in the communities in which they live. We are evangelical and non-denominational and our goal is to make disciples of all nations in the world through loving God and others, connecting with others and connecting them to God and together serving the world. 
 
 
FCR INTERNATIONAL operates through groups of devoted Christians in various communities called FCR Communities which are spread throughout all the nine (9) States/Regions of Austria but has also spread beyond the borders of Austria and we currently have representatives in Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Kosovo, and Cyprus.
 
FCR INTERNATIONAL also works in partnership with Churches, Christian Organizations, Charitable and Philantropic Organizations, Refugee Service Providers and Agencies both Locally and Internationally.

What We Believe
1.  We believe the Holy Scriptures are the divinely inspired Word of God and are authoritative in all matters of Christian faith and practice.

2.  We believe that there is one God - eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit - who is the Creator and Sustainer of all things.

3.  We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, his virgin birth, his sinless life, his atoning death on the cross, his bodily resurrection, and his ascension to the right hand of the Father.

4.  We believe that Jesus Christ is the only savior of men. Men are reborn as children of God through genuine repentance and personal faith in him.

5.  We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit to convict, teach, guide, and enable Christians to live a godly life.

6.  We believe that the church is composed of believers in Jesus Christ. He is the head and the  source of its life. The church, Christ’s body, exists to bring glory to Jesus Christ and to accomplish his purpose.

7.  We believe in the personal return of Jesus Christ. This is the hope of the church and its encouragement for ministry.

8.  We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead and the believer’s everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, while the unbeliever will encounter judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.

OUR SHORT HISTORY

In July 2003 Couffie Family invited refugees into their room (Haus 5 - Room 17) of the Traiskirchen Refugee Camp, Austria for Prayer and Bible Study but only two (2) refugees joined them for this meeting. As a consequece of this meeting, the Fellowship of Christian Refugees (FCR) which is now FCR INTERNATIONAL was born. FCR has grown and expanded to cover all the nine (9) regions/provinces of Austria in the form of FCR Communities serving refugees from different countries, nationalities, cultures, races, religions, colors, and creeds.

We also have FCR Representatives in other countries outside Austria - Spain, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Kosovo, and Cyprus.

 

FCR INTERNATIONAL is an officially registered Nonprofit Organization ("Verein") in Austria.
